Noroton Yacht Club

The construction of Noroton Yacht Club in Darien, CT, was done to update and improve the facilities of the club while preserving its historic maritime heritage. The project involved construction of a state-of-the-art clubhouse, sailing and waterfront facilities, and upgraded member facilities to ensure that the club remains one of the finest sailing and social clubs.

Scope of Work:
• Site Preparation & Infrastructure: Land clearing, grading, foundation reinforcement, and utility upgrades to support the new facilities.
• Clubhouse Construction:
• A modern, multi-functional clubhouse with dining, social, and event spaces.
• Expansive decks and lounge areas offering waterfront views.
• Administrative offices, meeting rooms, and a junior sailing center.
• Waterfront & Sailing Facilities:
• Enhanced docks and launching areas for sailboats and motorboats.
• Upgraded dry storage for boats and sailing equipment.
• New floating docks and reinforced bulkheads to improve waterfront access.
• MEP Systems & Sustainability Features:
• Installation of energy-efficient HVAC, lighting, and plumbing systems.
• Storm-resistant construction and environmentally friendly materials.
• Landscaping & Outdoor Enhancements:
• Green spaces, pedestrian pathways, and seating areas for club members.
• Improved parking and accessibility features to accommodate all guests.
